Dropship Distribution (Pty) Ltd which owns and runs the franchise for Ankara Textiles’ Online business (herein referred to as Ankara) maintains a 7 day, no-questions-asked, return policy provided that the product is in its original condition with all packaging, labels, and swing tags intact. Refunds do not apply to items that have been altered or custom-made to suit the customer’s requests before or after being purchased.
Ankara will charge a R100 (or its equivalent in other currencies) administration fee in respect of canceled orders on non-defected goods that are returned to it. The client will be responsible for shipping the goods back to Ankara plus the R100 administration fee; however, if through investigation or error goods were shipped to the client, Ankara shall bear all the cost involved in its replacement. If payment was made through a payment gateway (ie; payfast, paystack) all clearing house fees and payment gateway refund fees will be bourne by the customer; this usually is up to 2% – 5% of the total payment, which is determined by the clearing house.
On receipt and examination of the returned product, Ankara will reimburse the purchase price paid for the product, excluding any applicable charges. Ankara will not reimburse any shipping charges relating to the order. You may choose to receive credits for returned goods. If Store credits are issued in respect of a return, the return will not be subject to Ankara’s returns administration fee.
Refunds are only processed within 21 working days of receipt of returned goods and/or request for refund; the process for refunds and cancellations must be strictly followed as stated below.
If payment was made through Credit or Debit Cards, such refund must be managed through Ankara; You will not instruct your bank to reverse such payment. If there is further dispute for a legitimate transaction, you must utilise the dispute and ADR process stated in our broader Terms and Conditions of Use.
How To Exchange, Cancel Or Return an order.
1. Send an email to sales@ankara.co.za with ‘Exchange, Cancel or/and Return’ in the subject line. Provide your order number, product/s to be returned, canceled and/or exchanged, and reason for the return.
2. Once received, Ankara Support will process and email you a Returns Merchant Authorisation (RMA) shipping label and or forward your cancellation and refund request to our Finance Team.
3. To return goods, print out the Shipping Label and stick it over the original packaging then drop off the package with the courier indicated on the label.
4. Upon receipt of returned goods, Ankara will process your exchange/refund within 21 working days.
5. Do not send multiple return and refund requests on the same order as this might be flagged as fraudulent or suspicious and will loop the refund investigations process, further leading to possible extention of the 21 working day refund period.
